Iyad Uakoub

Iyad Uakoub is an award-winning executive coach and a Silicon Valley-based HR leader with training from Stanford and Harvard in behavioral science and organizational psychology. With over 21 years of experience, he has led People, Learning, and Inclusion initiatives at various organizations, including three tech unicorns.

He is currently the Head of People, Culture, and Behavioral Science at Sounding Board Inc., a VC-backed leadership development firm in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Iyad is the founder of Sparathon, a San Francisco-based coaching consultancy that integrates leadership coaching with applied behavioral science. His coaching portfolio features over 200 leaders across more than 100 organizations, including Yahoo, Cisco, Mozilla, Microsoft, LinkedIn, Bill.com, and many more.

Educated at Purdue, USF, Stanford, and Harvard, Iyad's doctoral research focused on self-regulation, adaptive leadership, and workplace inclusion. He co-created the Dynamic Leadership Model of Leadership Capacity, featured in the book Leadership Revolution: The Future of Developing Dynamic Leaders.

Iyad also serves on advisory boards for HR.com, Harvard Business Review, and the International Coaching Federation’s Digital Coaching Committee. His thought leadership is featured in prominent outlets like Forbes, Stanford, ATD, SHRM, HCI, NACE, NCDA, and HBR.
